Beyrouth Bye Bye… [Prints, Posters & Comic] by Barrack Rima

Plan BEY invites you to the launch of Barrack Rima’s exhibition of prints, posters, and new comic, at Makan.

Discover Barrack’s rich world of collage and mix-media illustrations as well as more traditional ink and pen techniques in various limited edition inkjet prints and posters, as well as his new comic, “Beyrouth bye bye…”, a sequel to the “Beyrouth” comic previously published by Plan BEY.

One of the active members of the comic magazine Samandal and a cartoonist for Al-Akhbar newspaper, Barrack comes and goes between Lebanon and Belgium where he has studied and is currently based.

Makan is a new multidisciplinary exhibition space shared by Plan BEY, Zawal and The Makers with a garden featuring lunches and dinners by Motto restaurant.

Prints
Various limited edition archival print editions with numbered and signed certificates, based on collages, mix-media, and ink drawings; and two collections of hand-printed cards on cotton paper.

Posters
Poster editions in 50x70cm and 70x100cm printed in Inkjet based on collage illustrations featuring Barrack’s childhood in Tripoli, and mixed-media ink drawing and photographic work.
